In 2024, I received "The Works Life Grant." The grant was awarded to support a photography project to document the distinctive character of the Mississippi Delta through photography, capturing the soul of a region that has profoundly shaped modern music. This project seeks to create a visual narrative of the landscapes, culture, and places that gave birth to blues, gospel, and early rock and roll.
